<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug preparation error prevention system for preventing erroneous selections of medicines, redundant preparation, and preparation omission. <P>SOLUTION: In drug preparation, a bar code attached to a container of a medicine or the like is read from a bar code input part 3, and a drug preparation confirmation part 4 compares it with prescription information and instructs the output of an out-of-prescription alarm for an erroneous selection of the medicine and a redundant preparation alarm for the redundant preparation.
