PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door frame which is carried in a state before assembly into a job site, so as to be assembled easily at the site while loss of parts can be prevented. SOLUTION: In this door frame in which vertical and horizontal frame materials 1 and 2 are connected and assembled, a receiving-metal-fitting 4 attached to an end of the vertical frame material 1 is provided with a vertically-cut notch 4a. A connecting bolt 6 is screwed into a midway location in a joint metal 5 which is attached to an end of the horizontal frame material 2 while a head of the connecting bolt 6 is horizontally protruded, and a shank of the connecting bolt 6 is hooked in the notch 4a of the striker fitting 4. Then, by tightening the connecting bolt 6, the vertical and horizontal frame materials 1 and 2 are fixed in a connected state. As the vertical and horizontal frame materials 1 and 2 are carried into the job site in a disassembled state before connection, the space occupied on a loading platform of a truck can be minimized in transportation, packing operation are facilitated, and the loss of the parts can be prevented.
