PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extraction method of a peak frequency in a hammering test capable of extracting accurately a frequency at which sound pressure strength shows a peak in a frequency band which is an extraction object from frequency analysis data of hammering data, in order to improve determination accuracy between a nondefective product and a defective product by the hammering test. SOLUTION: This method includes processes for: setting a temporary searching range Skpartitioned by the minimum searching frequency Fminand the maximum searching frequency Fmaxrelative to the frequency analysis data; extracting a first frequency F1at which the sound pressure strength becomes minimum in a first range S1having a fixed width L using the minimum searching frequency Fminas a start end, extracting a second frequency F2at which the sound pressure strength becomes minimum in a second range S2having the fixed width L using the maximum searching frequency Fmaxas a terminal end, in the temporary searching range Sk, and setting a real searching range Srpartitioned by the first frequency F1and the second frequency F2; and extracting the peak frequency Fpat which the sound pressure strength becomes maximum, in the real searching range Sr. Ž
