<p>A practical PET bottle cap and a PET bottle, wherein the cap can be easily opened and closed even by a person having limited physical strength and the cap and the bottle can be manufactured without a significant increase in the amount of a resin. A PET bottle cap engaged through threads with a bottle mouth of a PET bottle body, wherein the outer peripheral portion of the cap has an outer shape adapted to be fitted in the socket hole of a standardized 12-cornered socket wrench. The outer peripheral portion of the PET bottle cap comprises an irregular surface section (12) consisting of projections (12a) and recesses (12b). The irregular surface section (12) is adapted to be fitted to the irregular surface section of the socket hole of the standardized 12-cornered socket wrench.</p> |
