PURPOSE: An electric disc brake is provided to obtain enough braking power by enabling a pressing member to press a first friction pad using a worm gear and a worm wheel, and to reduce the volume of the brake. CONSTITUTION: An electric disc brake comprises friction pads(11,12), carriers(30), and a caliper housing(20), and a pressure device(40). The friction pads press a disc. The carriers support the friction pads. The caliper housing is supported by the carriers in order to press the friction pads. The pressure device presses the friction pads, and has a pressing member(41), a screw shaft(42), a worm wheel(43), a drive shaft(44), and a motor(46). The pressing member is installed in the caliper housing to press one friction pad.
