<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection terminal which has a contact section in front and can reduce inserting force of a mating-side insertion terminal. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A square cylinder-shaped connection section 11 is formed of a bottom plate 13, a first side plate 14, a top plate not illustrated, and a second side plate. A movable contact piece 20 is connected to a side of the bottom plate 13 at its base section 20a, its intermediate section is formed in a mountain-shape, its top serves as a contact section 20d to the mating-side insertion terminal to be inserted, and the movable contact piece 20 is folded back on the bottom plate 13 before the connection section 11 is formed. A cut is formed on the bottom plate 13, a non-illustrated rectangular reinforced piece connected to the bottom plate 13 at its rear section is lifted up from the bottom plate 13, and its front end section is brought into contact with a lower surface of the contact section 20d of the movable contact piece 20. A guide piece 22 prepared at a front end of the bottom plate 13 is bent inside an inlet of the connection section 11, the guide piece 22 prevents upward movement of the movable contact piece 20 by covering a free end 20c of the movable contact piece 20, and the guide piece also has a role of guiding the insertion terminal.
