PURPOSE: A digital image processing apparatus and an operation method thereof are provided to enable successive photography under successive flash emission through multiple flashes. CONSTITUTION: If present condition is a flash emission condition, a digital image processing apparatus enables preliminary light emission(320,321). The apparatus inputs a first photographing signal(322). The apparatus enables main light emission by a first flash(323). The apparatus enables the capture and the storage of a first image(324). In case of needing sequence photography, a fully charged flash is detected among multiple flashes(330,340). The apparatus captures a second image by the emission of the second flash(341,342).
