<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image processing program for securing a contrast by maintaining a low luminance section in the case of displaying a gamma-corrected image signal on a display panel, and for increasing overall lightness. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor 32 is provided with: a luminance determination means 322 for determining whether or not the luminance of a gamma-corrected image signal output from an image output device 2 is less than or equal to or more than a prescribed threshold; and a luminance correction means 323 for, when it is determined that the luminance of the gamma-corrected image signal is less than the prescribed value by the luminance determination means 322, performing reversing gamma correction to the image signal, and for outputting the reserving gamma-corrected image signal to a display panel 31, and for, when it is determined that the luminance of the gamma-corrected image signal is equal to or more than the prescribed threshold by the luminance determination means 322, outputting the image signal to the display panel 31 without correcting it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
