PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine vessel propulsion system that inhibits giving the operator an odd feeling caused by the outboard motor moving irrespective of the operator's will.
SOLUTION: The marine vessel propulsion system includes: an actual rudder angle sensor 203 to detect the rudder angle of an outboard motor 300; a steering wheel; a steering wheel angle sensor 104a to detect the variation amount of the rotation angle of the steering wheel; and a vessel side ECU 105 to perform steering control based on a value detected by the steering wheel angle sensor 104a. The vessel side ECU 105 is constituted to set the relation between the rotation position of the steering wheel and the rudder angle of the outboard motor 300 detected by the actual rudder angle sensor 203 at the start of steering control as an initial state, and control a motor 202 so as to change the rudder angle of the outboard motor 300 in accordance with the variation amount of the rotation angle of the steering wheel from the initial state.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
