ANTIPERSPIRANT COMPOSITIONS

Anhydrous antiperspirant aerosol compositions to improve the soft focus of the film of antiperspirant deposited on skin, and particularly on underarm skin, comprise in addition to a particulate aluminium antiperspirant salt, an oil and a propellant, at least one smoothing aid selected from a low concentration of wax and mica and preferably both. Advantageously, the wax comprises stearyl alcohol and the mica is a mica interference pigment, preferably exhibiting blue highlights. In some preferred embodiments, the compositions include a moisturiser such as an occlusive agent and/or a triglyceride oil.
