PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polymer particle aggregate not interconnecting each other. SOLUTION: The polymer particle aggregate is obtained by spray drying slurry including polymer particles comprising a monomer mixture including a monofunctional monomer selected from a styrenic monomer and a (meth)acrylic monomer and a multifunctional monomer selected from a styrenic monomer and a (meth)acrylic monomer, a surfactant, porous inorganic powders, and an aqueous medium under a specific temperature condition.
