A circuit, system and method provide the suppression of pop at power up of audio amplifiers. The output driver is tri-stated at power up and is enabled after a predetermined time constant. In one embodiment, the output driver includes a MOS transistor pair connected in a push-pull configuration and switches that are under the control of a delay circuit. the.
