PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a match game from being nullified by a fraudulent operation such as a game player turning a power source off during a match in an online match game.
SOLUTION: When a match opponent for the online match game is determined to start the match, an in-match flag FB indicative of being-in-match is set to 1 (S17). When the match finishes normally and a win and a loss are determined, the flag FB is reset to 0 (S27). When the player turns the power source off during the match to forcedly finish it and restarts it after that, a state of the flag FB is examined: if 1 is set in the flag FB, it is counted as the number of nullified matches; and if 0 is set in the flag FB, it is not counted as the number of the nullified matches. Information on the number of the nullified matches is reported to the opponent when the opponent is determined at the match. Reporting the number of the fraudulent operations to the opponent inhibits the fraudulent operation of the player.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
|
