摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium, which utilizes a new organic thin film (a monomolecular film) having an order structure of nano meter size and with which recording is reproduced by a recording density unrealizable with the conventional optical disk and surpassing the diffraction limit of a pickup lens. <P>SOLUTION: (1) This optical recording medium is made of an amphiphilic block copolymer having a micro phase separation structure of a nano meter size on a film surface under the condition that a monomolecular film including a photofunctionating molecule is formed as a recording layer on a board in at least one separation phase in the phase separation structure. (2) The optical recording medium includes at least an amphiphilic block copolymer and a low molecular compound, and has a micro phase separation structure of a nano meter size on the film surface under the condition that the monomolecular film including the photofunctionating molecule is formed as the recording layer on the board in at least one separation phase in the phase separation structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
