PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for wheels, which can prevent the leakage in a fitting part without requesting a high shape precision to the fitting part of a slinger, and can secure sufficient sealing performance. SOLUTION: The bearing device is provided with an outward member 1, an inward member 2, a rolling body 3 interposed between raceway surfaces 4, 5 of both the members 1, 2, and a pair of sealing means 7 which seal both the ends of an annular space between the members 1, 2. Either of the sealing means 7 is configured to have a slinger 8 on the outer periphery of the inward member 2, and a thin film 11 consisting of an adhesive is formed on an inner diameter face as a press-in face of this slinger 8. The sealing means 7 have a cored bar 9 and an elastic member 10 fitted to the inner diameter face of the outward member 1 oppositely to the slinger 8. The elastic body 10 has seal lips 10a, 10b and 10c in contact with the slinger 8, and is fixed integrally with the cored bar 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
