<p>The vehicle (10) has a loader device (12) with a loader boom (20), and a hydraulic system for raising and lowering the boom. The hydraulic system has a hydraulic suspension for cushioning the boom. A control unit is designed in such a manner that the suspension is controlled as a function of a control variable representing a vehicle speed. The suspension is switched on, when a predetermined threshold value for the vehicle speed is exceeded.
