<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous printing varnish composition suitable for producing a printed matter having good gloss and leveling property in flexographic printing, achieving high printing speed owing to the absence of the bleed of the ink in printing, having a heat-resistance necessary for corrugator processing and having excellent water-resistance and abrasion resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous printing varnish composition contains an aqueous emulsion resin having a glass transition point of 30-100°C, an oil-and-fat, and a phosphate-based surfactant having a specific structure as constituent components.
