<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by decreasing arithmetic processing load necessary for starting control of an occupant crash protection device. <P>SOLUTION: An occupant crash protection control device performs the starting control of the occupant crash protection device when a vehicle crash occurs, on the basis of acceleration data obtained from an acceleration sensor disposed at a predetermined position of the vehicle. The occupant crash protection control device includes a storage means for storing sensor selection data to define use/unuse of the acceleration sensor; and an arithmetic processing means for determining an acceleration sensor used for the starting control of the occupant crash protection device on the basis of the sensor selection data in the initiation process during the starting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
