<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base pin and a base unit which have superior strength, conductivity and corrosion resistance, and has a reduced cost, and easy to recycle as a recycled resource. <P>SOLUTION: This is the cylindrical base pin of which the base end part is inserted and fixed to a base of a fluorescent lamp, of which a material is iron, and which is plated.
