PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring machine for use in a snap tap with a saddle, wherein a drill can be easily attached/detached while preventing the whole machine from getting large and complicated, and in particular the drill is removed while preventing an internal component from bending or breaking to keep a boring function and a waterproof sealing function. SOLUTION: The boring machine for use in a snap tap with a saddle includes a spindle 2 driven to rotate vertically movably provided in a boring machine body 1 and the drill 3 screwed with a lower end 2a of the spindle 2. In the boring machine, a head 4 of the spindle 2 is positioned in an upper end 6a of the boring machine body 1 when the spindle 2 is pulled up into the body 1, and the drill 3 is replaced while the head 4 is fixed by a tool 5 and rotation of the spindle 2 is locked.
