PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone for assigning a function being the same as that attained by the long depression of a key to the continuous rotary operation of a rotary input device so as to use the function. SOLUTION: The cellular phone includes: a key group 20 and a rotary input part 21 as operation input parts; a timer 34; and a main control part 35. The main control part 35 performs processing so as to assign the function the same as that to be attained by the long depression of the key constituting the key group 20 to the continuous rotary operation of the rotary input part 21 by using the timer 34 according to an application program, and to allow the use of the function.
