<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein, when using an inexpensive extrusion-molded rod lens in an inspection device using an LED as a light source, since its surface is waved, fixation becomes unstable to cause position deviation when being fixed by a projection, or the lens is sometimes moved by vibration or the like, and thereby light quantity unevenness occurs in light irradiated to an inspection object, and resultantly sure inspection becomes impossible. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A chip-shaped LED is used as the light source, and as a means for fixing the rod lens positioned on an upper part, a flexible buffer material is inserted between a projection fit to an outer diameter of the rod lens and the surface of the rod lens. Even if the surface of the rod lens is waved, deviation of a fixed position does not occur by action of the buffer material, to thereby acquire an inexpensive and accurate inspection device having no light quantity unevenness.
