<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily acquire the shape of a medical instrument indwelled in a subject. <P>SOLUTION: An image data storage part 11 stores data of a plurality of slice images of consecutive positions about the medical instrument indwelled in a subject. An image generating part 13 extracts the maximum pixel value on each of a plurality of radiation rays from the center of the image about the medical instrument on each slice image based on the plurality of slice images stored in the image data storage part 11, and generates data on the image in which the extracted maximum pixel values are distributed to an area whose longitudinal direction is made to correspond to a slice number and whose lateral direction is made to correspond to an angle of each radiation ray. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
