<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver capable of more surely determining whether or not a broadcast wave is for simultaneous broadcast or not. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a broadcast receiving circuit for receiving a broadcast wave containing a first service and a second service and for outputting either video/audio contained in the first service or video-audio contained in the second service, and the circuit comprises: a first extraction section for extracting a first silent section and first interval information from first audio data contained in the first service; a second extraction section for extracting a second silent section and second interval information from second audio data contained in the second service; a simultaneous broadcast determination section 80 for comparing the first interval information with the second interval information to determine whether or not the broadcast wave is for simultaneous broadcast; and a switching control section 100 for performing output switching about whether to output the first video/audio or the second video/audio, on the basis of a result of the determination by the simultaneous broadcast determination section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
