<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily emboss-processable film excellent in emboss processability, especially emboss processability at a low temperature (120-130°C), form stability (heat shrinkage characteristics, thickness irregularity), printability, light fastness and the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the polyester film for emboss processing containing a copolymerized polyester constituted of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component, ethylene glycol and a glycol component containing branched aliphatic glycol and/or alicyclic glycol, stress at the time of 100% elongation in the longitudinal and the lateral directions thereof is 10 MPa or higher and lower than 180 MPa at 25°C and 1-100 MPa at 100°C, also the light transmissivity at a wavelength of 380 nm is 50% or lower, and furthermore, an easy printability improving layer containing an adhesiveness modifying resin is provided at least at one side.
