PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grip of a pole which makes it possible for a user to press the thumb to the inside of a recessed part provided on a support part on the back of the grip. SOLUTION: When using the grip for a stock including the pole including a shaft 2, the grip 10 attached to one end part of the shaft 2, and a strap 35 disposed between both ends of the grip 10 and capable of being tightened while the back of the hand is passed through the strap, the support part 17 on which the thumb of the hand is placed while the back of the hand is passed through the strap is provided on the end part of the grip 10, and the support part 17 is provided with a recessed part 17a at which the thumb is to be positioned further.
