<p>Provided is an electrical connector having a floating mechanism, wherein a contact fixed to a housing composed of a single member can be floated in the horizontal direction and the front-rear direction and a force required for floating the contact is reduced. The electrical connector is provided with a housing (10) composed of a single member, and a contact (20) fixed to the housing (10). The contact (20) has: a solder connecting section (21) connected to a circuit board; an elastic section (22), which extends upward from the solder connecting section (21), returns to the housing (10) side and extends downward; a fixed section (23), which has one end (231) connected to the elastic section (22) at a leading end (222) thereof extending downward, and is fixed to the vicinity of the bottom surface of the housing (10) by extending in the horizontal direction; and a contact section (24) which extends upward from the fixed section (23), from the other end (232) which faces the end (231).</p> |
