<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize developing performance while miniaturizing an image forming apparatus from which a developing device is taken out. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: the developing device including a developer carrier for supplying a developer to an image support and a developer stirring member for stirring the developer; and a front door opened and closed to take out the developing device from the image forming apparatus body. A developer carrier driving part for driving the developer carrier and a developer stirring member driving part for driving the developer stirring member can be driven regardless of each other, the one driving part is provided on the front door, and the other driving part is provided on a side opposite to the front door in the image forming apparatus body with the developer carrier interposed between them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
