The device has a closable working container (3), where a workpiece (1) is arranged in the container for withdrawing a process fluid (2). A supplying device (5) adjustably supplies a gaseous medium (5') i.e. compressed air, to the workpiece. A collecting device (8) is provided in the working container and collects the process fluid separated by the gaseous medium. The collecting device is arranged above the workpiece and includes a grill-shaped structure formed from a number of upward opened channel elements (10) that are connected with each other. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for withdrawing a process fluid adhering at a workpiece (2) a washing system having a process fluid withdrawing device.
