<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fully cope with an output request with all of a plurality of power storage devices corresponding to a request for a load device while normally using the power storage devices in a well-balanced way, in a power supply system equipped with the power storage devices. <P>SOLUTION: The output electric power upper limit value POmax from the power supply system is set within a setting range of discharge electric power target values Pb1, Pb2 of each power storage device so as to normally maintain a discharge electric power distribution rate k set in consideration of the discharge balance among the power storage devices. When the output request for the load devices is increased, the output electric power upper limit value POmax is set according to the total of discharge electric power upper limit values Wout1, Wout2 so as to take precedence of the increase in the output electric power over the maintenance of the discharge electric power distribution rate k.
