<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the strength of a roof part of a vehicle body, and to reduce the cost for enhancing the appearance. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a roof structure of a vehicle body, a roof panel part 40 is constituted of an outer panel 43 and an inner panel 45. The outer panel 43 constitutes a design surface of the roof panel part 40, and its peripheral edge 43e is folded back to the back side with the predetermined width. The inner panel 45 is formed in a frame shape so as to overlap a back side peripheral edge of the outer panel 43. A peripheral edge part of the inner panel 45 is held by a fold-back part 43e of the outer panel 43, and joined with the outer panel 43. The inner panel 45 of the roof panel part 40 is joined with a shelf-like part T of the roof side part 20, and right and left edges of the design surface in the roof panel part 40 cover the shelf-like part T of the roof side part 20.
