<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a print job whose job name has too many characters or whose job name is unclear such as the URL of a Web page is transmitted, it is impossible to discriminate each job on the control panel of a printer in secure print. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a means for easily applying an identifiable and intelligible job name which is suitable for representing a job instead of a job name which is too long or unclear. A text which is suitable for representing the job is extracted from text data included in a print job, and presented before printing to a user as the candidate of the job name to be replaced.
