<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing cover which can be manufactured without using a large molding machine, and to provide a recording apparatus equipped with the housing cover. <P>SOLUTION: The front cover 25 is formed in one body in a shape to be able to lid an opening of a housing as a top member 30 and a bottom member 40 are connected along a plane direction. The top member 30 and the bottom member 40 respectively include connecting parts 34 and 44 arranged in the shape of comb teeth in a mode to be able to fit in each other at counter parts to the counterpart members connected. The connecting parts 34 and 44 respectively have slopes which extend in a direction to slantwise intersect front surfaces and rear surfaces of the top member 30 and bottom member 40 and pair up each other along a fitting direction of the connecting parts 34 and 44.
