PURPOSE: An ignition apparatus for a combustion system using pellet fuel is provided to simplify an ignition method by igniting pellet fuel by electric heating, and to be freely moved. CONSTITUTION: An ignition apparatus for a combustion system using pellet fuel comprises a container unit(262) and an igniting unit(270). The container unit accepts pellet fuel, and has an air circulation space and an outer container with first through holes and air supply holes. An inner container is formed in the outer container, and has second through holes. The igniting unit is installed in the bottom of the container part, and ignites the pellet fuel by electric heating.
