<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic percussion instrument which enables a player to execute a plurality of operations on its multiple operation faces, and to make effective use of the operation faces give a wide range of performances. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic percussion instrument 1 generates playing sounds, which are preliminarily allocated to pads P, respectively, according to the playing operations to the pads P. In this case, a playing operation part 10 has a planar part 18 constituted of a plurality of planar pads P1-P6 and cubic parts 16, 17 constituting cubic pads P7-P12. On the planar part 18, the plurality of planar pads P1-P6 are arranged in a horizontal direction, when viewed from a player's side. The cubic parts 16, 17 are constituted of the first cubic part 16, which is arranged on the depth side of the planar part 18, and the second cubic part 17 arranged on this side of the planar part.
