<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the diagnosis for the abnormality of each branch circuit of a branch-connected two-wire type CAN communication circuit. <P>SOLUTION: An abnormality diagnostic device for an on-vehicle communication line includes a branch circuit for inspection connector-connected to each branch circuit of a CAN communication line, a branch connection circuit having a joint circuit for connecting the branch circuit, a disconnection means for disconnecting each branch circuit from the joint circuit, an electric potential measuring means for measuring the electric potential of the branch circuit disconnected by the disconnection means, a connection means for connecting the electric potential measuring means to the branch circuit, and an abnormality determination means connected to the electric potential measuring means to perform the abnormality determination by the measured electric potential. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
