<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve detection of a short circuit fault occurring in motors with an inexpensive configuration in a motor control device that drives a plurality of motors with one DC power supply. <P>SOLUTION: In order to drive the plurality of motors (105, 106), a current detection resistor (404, 405) is arranged between a connection point on positive terminal sides of a plurality of electric power converters (401, 402) connected in parallel to a DC power supply (403) and a positive terminal of the DC power supply, or also between a connection point on negative terminal sides of the plurality of electric power converters and a negative terminal (ground) of the DC power supply, to thereby detect the short circuit fault based on a voltage of the current detection resistor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
