PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood collection supporting system without requiring connection to a host computer by allowing a blood collection tube to be correlated with a patient after preparation of the blood collection tube. SOLUTION: An identification code is previously applied to the blood collection tube. After selecting the blood collection tube by a blood collection tube preparation device, the selected blood collection tube is correlated with an object ID. The object ID may be a patient ID, or a medical solution or a medicine bag, or a staff ID card. With this structure, it is not necessary to print the patient ID on a label by the blood collection tube preparation device based on patient information obtained from the host computer or to stick the label to the blood collection tube. Instead, individual ID codes are applied to the respective blood collection tubes by a personal computer for the blood collection tube preparing device, and a correlation device reads the IDs of the blood collection tubes and the object to correlate the blood collection tube with the object ID.
