<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powdery bleaching composition promoting the bleaching effect of a hydrogen peroxide-based compound and having good appearance even after storage, and to provide a method for producing granules or moldings. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The powdery bleaching composition contains (a) a peroxide which generates hydrogen peroxide upon dissolution in water, (b) a polycarboxylic acid-based polymeric compound having a structure of general formula (I) or general formula (II) as a constitutional unit and/or an anion generated from the polymeric compound, (C) a copper compound and/or a manganese compound, and (d) a binder compound selected from the following (d-1) and/or (d-2): (d-1) a polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight of 2,500-10,000 and a block polymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide, and (d-2) a nonionic surfactant whose HLB obtained by Griffin's method is ≥16, wherein the components (b), (c) and (d) are contained as granules or moldings formed by granulating or molding those. In the general formulae (I) and (II), A represents H, optionally branched alkyl or a substituent represented by the general formula (III), and all A may be the same or a mixture of two or more kinds, provided that one or more carboxy groups are contained in the constitutional unit. The polycarboxylic acid-based polymeric compound may be composed of identical constitutional units or may be a copolymer composed of two or more kinds of constitutional units.
