<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transfer unit from being erroneously attached to an image forming apparatus body. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer unit 41 differs from a transfer unit 410 in specification. When the transfer unit 41 is attached to a member to be attached 45, it is exactly attached in a stable state by meshing a recess 72 with a protrusion 70. When the transfer unit 410 being a compared example is attached to a member to be attached 450 being a compared example, it is exactly attached in a stable state.
