<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear in which a second gear can be arranged to be brought closer to the center of a first gear as far as a position where a shaft is overlapped with a worm wheel in the radial direction, resulting in size reduction. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The first gear 23 is arranged to rotate coaxially and integrally with the worm wheel 24 having a diameter greater than that of the first gear 23 in one row in the axial direction. The shaft of a second gear 25 meshed with the first gear 23 is depressed by a depressed shaft 25B so as not to be overlapped with the worm wheel 24 in the axial direction, and is supported by a bearing 21J formed in a body case 21. Out of the circumferential region to cover the outer periphery of the shaft depressed in the second gear 25, the bearing 21J lacks a circumferential region portion on a side near the center of the first gear 23, and has a shape in the circumferential region portion on a side remote from the center of the first gear 23.
