The device (1) has a rotary-mounted tensioning/deflection roller (9) to fasten a tensioner over a base part (3) or a deflection device over a spacer sleeve at an engine block (25) of a vehicle by a fastening part (31) i.e. screw. The base part or the spacer sleeve is made from a lightweight construction material with a temperature coefficient (T1). The tensioner or the spacer sleeve is fastened to the engine block by the fastening part. The fastening part has a temperature coefficient (T2) larger than the temperature coefficient (T1) of the base part and or the spacer sleeve.
