<p>The present invention relates to a water saving device, and more particularly, to a water saving device which is mounted on one end of a water pipe or faucet mounted on a sink to supply water necessary for washing kitchen utensils etc. and is capable of conserving water by preventing excess water from being used. The water saving device is mounted on a water pipe connected to a water faucet for supplying water to a kitchen sink to wash kitchen utensils and controls the amount of water necessary to wash kitchen utensils. The water saving device comprises: a fixing piece having a shape of a round vertical plate and fixed to the inside of the water pipe in which water flows, and having a through groove formed horizontally; an opening-shutting portion, which is moved with a part thereof entering the water pipe, and controls the flow of water in the water pipe by opening and shutting the through groove of the fixed piece; a transfer portion which is formed from the outside of the water pipe to the inside of the water pipe in a position which corresponds to the position where a part of the opening-shutting portion enters into the water pipe, is connected correspondingly to be opposite to one end of the opening-shutting portion, and moves the opening-shutting portion inside the water pipe toward the outside of the water pipe; and a pushing bar which is connected to one end of the opening-shutting portion projected toward the outside of the water pipe, is arranged on the outside of the sink, and moves the opening-shutting portion.</p> |
