PURPOSE: An ignition apparatus for a combustion system using pellet fuel is provided to effectively ignite pellet fuel in a short time by forming multiple through holes in the outer surface of an inner container and a partition. CONSTITUTION: An ignition apparatus for a combustion system using pellet fuel(200) comprises a container unit(262) and an igniting unit(270). The container unit accepts the pellet fuel, and has an air circulation space and an outer container. An inner container is formed inside the outer container, and has multiple through holes. The igniting unit is installed in the bottom of the container unit, and ignites the pellet fuel by receiving gas.
