PURPOSE: A suspension system and a suspension method using the same are provided to utilize additional information by controlling suspension device from a remote power company using watt hour meter. CONSTITUTION: A watt hour meter(200) receives an additional signal from an external server indicating whether a current is suspended or not. The received additional signal is analyzed. A command for the suspension of power supply is transmitted to the power-suspending apparatus. A suspension apparatus(210) turns on or off a switch by the command for the suspension of power supply.
