PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus is provided, which reduces upper and lower temperature deviation of an exposure unit, reduces torsion from the temperature deviation, increases accuracy of scanned light. CONSTITUTION: An exposure unit(120) exposes a plurality of image carriers(134). A transfer unit(140) transfers a visible image of a plurality of image carriers to a print media. A fusing unit(150) settles down the transferred visible image on the print media. The height from the bottom surface of an image forming apparatus(100) to a rotation center of a roller(151,153) of the fixing unit is the same or lower than the height from the bottom surface to upper end of exposure unit.
