PURPOSE: A terminal and a method for displaying former caller information before the change which improved origination completion rate are provided to enable a terminal to display information about previous phone number stored in a receiving terminal and originator information before change, even though the originator performs origination in changed number not-stored state of receiver after a change of number. CONSTITUTION: If an originator changes a phone number within a year, HLR(Home Location Register) extracts a previous number of the originator(S240,S250). The HLR provides the phone number of the originator and the previous number to a receiving terminal(S260). If the originator does not have the phone number in a phone book, the receiving terminal searches information corresponding to the previous phone number at the phone book(S270,S280). The receiving terminal displays information corresponding to the previous phone number(S295). |
