PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a light emitting device and the light emitting device are provided to form a poly-crystalline region which is expanded to a horizontal direction in a substrate by horizontally radiating laser to the substrate. CONSTITUTION: An intermediate structure is formed on a substrate. The intermediate structure includes a light emitting structure(110), a first electrode(140) and a second electrode(150). The light emitting structure includes a first conductive pattern(112), a light emitting pattern(114) and a second conductive pattern(116). The first electrode is electrically connected to the first conductive pattern. The second electrode is electrically connected to the second conductive pattern. A poly-crystalline region(105) is formed in a substrate to a horizontal direction by radiating laser. The substrate is cut to a horizontal direction. |
