<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein, concerning a flexible solar cell arranged approximately vertical to a dial on the circumferential part of a movement of an electronic timepiece in order to supply a power to the electronic timepiece, in the case where patterning is a one-stage light power generation cell, a booster circuit for boost is required, though a merit exists wherein a power generation voltage is hardly changed to partial shielding caused by clothes or the like, and in the case of a light power generation cell with a plurality of stages of a rectangular pattern, output fluctuation caused by the partial shielding is large or a series/parallel switching switch circuit is required to thereby increase the complexity and a space of circuit or a power consumption, though the booster circuit is not required because the power generation voltage is acquired highly. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic timepiece is constituted so that the light power generation cells are arranged alternately in a comb-shaped state, and thereby a light receiving range in each stage is widened and a stable power can be supplied to a secondary cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
