<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the carrier having a complex cross-linked structure, in which ferromagnetic fine grains are sufficiently dispersed in a resin by a coupling agent and a polar group such as a sulfonic group and a carboxyl group and firmly adhered to the resin, with the service life of a developer prolonged since the carrier surface is curved and hardly damaging a photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:This electrophotographic carrier consists of a ferromagnetic fine grain and a resin. The resin is a polyurethane polyurea contg. one or >=2 kinds of polar groups selected from a group consisting of a sulfonic group, a sulfonate group, a carboxyl group and a carboxylate group and having a complex cross-linked structure consisting of a urethane coupling and a urea coupling. An electrophotographic magnetic carrier with the average grain diameter controlled to 10-300mum and having a curved surface is produced in this way.</p> |
